When Emma’s father vanished without a trace ten years ago, everyone told her to let it go. She never did.

Then her grandmother falls into a coma days prior to her arrival at Ravenwood college—the last place her father was seen alive—and a dark world of magic and shadows starts haunting her dreams—and then there is him.

The tattooed, dark-eyed stranger with a dangerous reputation who looks at her as if he already knows her secrets. Not only is he an irritating, cocky jerk who feels too cool with his bike and leather jacket, but he is also clearly hiding something, and... he's her tutor.

The last thing Emma wants is to trust him. But as her father's legacy pulls her deeper into something older and far more treacherous than she imagined, and someone tries to keep her from the truth at any cost, he may be the only one standing between her and death. Because very few are pleased she found her way back. And some would do anything to see her gone.
